Cornerstone Center for Development is dedicated to delivering outpatient pediatric therapies, including speech, occupational, behavioral, and mental health therapies for children and adolescents in our local area. Our approach involves thoughtful consideration of each child's learning style, strengths, and interests to create purposeful, helpful, idealistic, yet pragmatic therapy experiences. We strive to establish a welcoming environment that ensures families feel secure, supported, and confident as they explore new skills. Cornerstone Center for Development
provides Speech and Language evaluation and therapy services for birth to 19 years. We strive to provide quality care through comprehensive evaluations, evidence-based practices, and intervention strategies.
Following the evaluation, a written report will be provided and together, an appropriate treatment plan and goals will be developed. Our mission is to approach communication needs based on each individuals unique needs, learning styles, interests, and strengths.
Paired with parent participation, involvement, and collaboration, children will develop the skills necessary to connect and interact with the world around them.

Occupational Therapy
Pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT) is a specialized field of therapy that focuses on helping children develop the skills necessary for daily life activities, also known as "occupations." Based on assessment results, a treatment plan will be developed that relies on the unique needs of the client and their family.
Our goal is to support children in gaining confidence and independence in performing age and developmentally appropriate skills. We value parent and caregiver collaboration and work closely together to promote progress and growth in developmental skills.
Services may be provided for children who are experiencing challenges with fine motor, sensory, visual-perceptual, or self-care skills. The ultimate goal of pediatric occupational therapy is to enhance a child's ability to engage in meaningful activities, achieve independence, and lead a fulfilling life.
